Arsenal Transfer News: Grzegorz Krychowiak Release Fee to Be Met,Latest update from Emirate
Arsenal are reportedly planning on triggering the £21.2 million release clause of Sevilla star Grzegorz Krychowiak and adding some more bite to the midfield areas before the end of the summer transfer window. That's according to a reliable source inside Emirate , who noted that manager Arsene Wenger is satisfied with the players he currently has at his disposal but still plans on adding to his squad.
Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch Krychowiak during the European Super Cup, which Sevilla lost to Barcelona, and shared comments team-mate Vicente Iborra made earlier this month. , Iborra acknowledged he was afraid someone would trigger the 25-year-old's buyout clause, saying: "Of course I am concerned that Krychowiak could be taken away. I always want to have the best players in the team. He brings so much. I hope he stays. I understand Sevilla's position, it is clear, and I hope nobody pays that clause, and he stays with us." Krychowiak joined Sevilla from Reims in the summer of 2014 as a bit of an unknown quantity, having impressed greatly the two years before. Flying under the radar, plenty of top clubs missed out on the chance to sign him for pennies on the dollar, including the Gunners
